Transformers: Optimus Prime #1

This volume collects the first six issues of IDW's Transformers: Optimus Prime series, which follows the Autobot leader as he takes on a new role as the reluctant leader of a united Cybertron. Written by John Barber with art by Kei Zama and others, the story deals with the political and personal challenges Optimus faces while trying to maintain peace among former enemies and allies alike. It also ties into the larger Transformers narrative of the time, including threads from Revolution and First Strike.
