Transformers: Lost Light #5

A cloaked, imposing Cybertronian figure dominates this cover, glowing eyes and chest blazing with golden light as he strides forward with crystalline energy crackling at his hands — flanked on either side by a group of mysterious, watching mechanoids. Jack Lawrence's cover composition has a real sense of dread and ceremony to it, drawing you straight into the tensions of "Dissolution Part 5: Modes of Production." James Roberts and Lawrence, with colors by Joana Lafuente, were doing some of their most ambitious work on Lost Light in 2017, and this issue looks like a compelling next step in the arc.
