Transformers #5/1988
In "Bedragarklotter," Megatron sends the two Battlechargers to Earth to deface American landmarks with their graffiti, turning iconic sites into chaotic canvases. Circuit Breaker, still testing her experiments on damaged Autobots, fuses parts from different wreckage into a new frame and links herself directly into the machine, ready to stop the vandalism at the Statue of Liberty.
In "Afterdeath!", the Autobots and Decepticons clash inside an experimental factory over a powerful energy device, but instead of a direct fight, a young programmer named Ethan offers a digital alternative—locking them into his 'Battleworld' program. Megatron falls in battle, only to return with eerie persistence, pushing Prime to the brink before meeting his end once more. When Prime’s victory inadvertently destroys innocent lives within the simulation, Ethan is forced to erase Prime’s physical form. With the energy device in their hands, the Combaticons and Megatron vanish—leaving the Protectobots to carry the broken remains of their leader.
