The cover of this 2021 IDW installment poses a pointed question — "Who will save us?" — as a cluster of massive Cybertronian warriors pile together in a chaotic, smoke-wreathed struggle, each one branded with a damning label: Fanatic, Ghost, Killer, Coward. It's a striking visual from cover artist Malkova that frames Optimus Prime and his fellow Autobots not as straightforward heroes but as deeply flawed figures whose reputations are very much in question. Brian Ruckley and Bethany McGuire-Smith Cruz round out the creative team for what looks to be one of the more introspective, morally charged chapters of the War World arc.
