The "War World" arc continues with issue #27 from IDW, and the cover makes a striking statement: a massive, purple Decepticon — jet wings spread wide, yellow-visored helmet glinting against a stormy, snow-swept sky — looms with unmistakable menace. It's a beautifully rendered portrait of sheer intimidating scale, courtesy of the creative team of Ruckley, Ossio, and Garcia Cruz. If this cover is any indication, the War World saga is delivering some of its most atmospheric and foreboding moments yet.
