Volume 32 of Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro's Toriko delivers exactly the kind of visceral energy the series is known for, with the massively built, wild-haired hero filling the cover in a ferocious, muscle-straining pose while a menacing green dragon looms at his back. The contrast between Toriko's raw, explosive physicality and the serpentine creature coiling behind him sets a striking tone for whatever culinary battles lie within. Published by Kazé Shōnen in 2016, this is a great entry point into one of Shonen Jump's most gloriously over-the-top adventure manga.
