Volume 15 of Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro's Toriko announces itself with a jaw-dropping close-up of a menacing, wide-grinned figure set against a crackling, flame-lit background — pure intensity rendered in Shimabukuro's bold, kinetic style. The sheer scale of that face filling the cover, teeth bared and eyes blazing, signals that this stretch of the series is pushing into seriously high-stakes territory.
