This anthology issue contains at least two stories. "That Man Mikan" tells of George Mikan, a former All-American basketball player from DePaul University and top scorer in professional basketball, who becomes a coach for the National Champion Minneapolis Lakers, fulfilling his dream despite being an awkward giant during his school years. The second story follows Thomas the Builder, who after a long journey reaches Sandaruk in Northern India, where King Gondoferus hires him to construct buildings ranging from plows to palaces; the king departs on a journey promising to provide funds, and Thomas uses the money to help villages by purchasing food and medicine for the needy.
