Another story depicts Viking and Saxon naval conflict, showing a Saxon leader commissioning larger warships from a foreign shipbuilder to counter a Danish invasion threat. A third tale involves medieval crusaders who spare a Turkish prisoner's life based on Christian mercy, with the Turk later rewarding them with a precious pearl antioch.
