Tony Trent becomes embroiled in a scheme involving a swordsman named Senor Trent who plans to make a dead man appear to be a living coward to discredit him politically. When Editor Carlos learns of the plot, he enlists Tony's help to suppress rival political presses. Tony intervenes to stop the villainous plan, leading to a confrontation where a woman becomes trapped in a closet, and the conspiracy is exposed in court. In a separate adventure, Tony's return flight home is interrupted when his plane is shot down, but he manages to survive and contact authorities to expose enemy sabotage.
