In the stark silence of the frontier night, Tonto is bound by a sacred duty: to guard the dying Stone Bear and the tribe’s medicine bundle, the last hope for the chief’s survival. When enemy braves strike under cover of smoke, stealing the bundle and leaving Tonto blind, he must navigate a treacherous path through darkness and danger—knowing that if the bundle is not recovered, both Stone Bear and he will perish.

Tonto and Tall Pine are trapped in a hunting circle, forced to flee from Kicking Bird—a warrior whose deadly skill with tomahawks and stones has earned him a fearsome reputation. As the chase unfolds, the tension builds with every throw and dodge, testing their wits and endurance in a desperate bid to survive.
