Tomb Raider: The Series #37
In "The Black Legion: Part III of III," Lara Croft flees the desert and races toward the fabled Lost Dutchman gold mine, where she confronts both Jasmine and a mine guarded by Joe—now under the influence of a malevolent thunder god. Written by James Bonny and illustrated by Romano Molenaar with art by Tony Daniel, this climactic chapter sees Lara battle her way through danger and mind control, culminating in a decisive choice that leaves Joe behind with the Apache Black Legion as Lara rides off into the sunset. The cover, a striking collaboration by Tony Daniel and Tyler Kirkham, captures the moment’s intensity with bold inks and dynamic composition.
