Tomb of Terror #10
In "Big Joke," a 1953 Harvey horror classic, the crooked lawyer Eddie King finds himself in hell, wrongly branded a murderer—though his victim, the gangster Silvera, died by accident. Desperate to prove his innocence, King demands a trial, but the courtroom is stacked against him when Silvera takes the stand and lies under oath. With no one to defend him in the afterlife, the case turns into a chilling twist of justice. The story unfolds with stark, expressive art by Manny Stallman, inks by John Giunta, and letters by Joe Rosen, while Lee Elias delivers a striking cover that captures the tale’s dark irony.
