Tomahawk #3/1972
In "Vägen mot frihet!", Tomahawk is named interim chief for a month while the Black Bear reaches manhood. As tensions rise, Broken Spear tries to trick the new settlers into believing Tomahawk ordered attacks against them. Art by Fred Ray, with cover by Joe Kubert.
When Tomahawk is named interim chief for a month until Svarta Bävern comes of age, tensions rise as Brutna Spjutet stirs unrest among the settlers, spreading rumors that Tomahawk has ordered raids against them. With trust fraying and loyalty tested, the young leader must prove himself not just as a warrior, but as a true leader.
In "Vapnen från ingenstans!", Tomahawk finds himself caught between loyalty and deception as Röda Uttern tries to convince the chief Vita Musen that the weapons appearing out of nowhere are a gift from the spirit world. With Dan Hunter watching closely, the truth behind the supply of arms begins to unravel — but the real source is far more dangerous than any legend.
