Tom-Tom encounters a scheming banister who attempts to use a spotlight to lure ships onto rocks so they will smash and sink, planning to drown the people aboard. Tom-Tom devises a plan to stop the madman by turning off the light. Meanwhile, a flying sheriff named Freddy pursues cattle rustlers in a high-speed aircraft across the Driftwood Range, working to apprehend the renegades and restore law and order to the wild west.
