This issue contains two stories: "Badman Siege," a Fightin' Forbes tale by Walter Farmer in which Forbes attempts to rescue young George Peters, who is being held hostage by the Oldfield brothers in Peters' cabin while a sheriff and posse lay siege to the structure; and "The Unexpected Visit," featuring Tom Mix visiting Sheriff Mike Shaw at the Dobie jailhouse, where Tom agrees to help spread word around town that the sheriff will be away until midnight, setting up what appears to be a planned scheme. The issue also includes advertisements and a Small Town Smalley comic strip segment.
