Tom leans in with wide-eyed anticipation on this cheerful 1960 Dell cover by Harvey Eisenberg, clutching an open envelope from which a very unimpressed Jerry peers out — with a mailbox lurking in the background, it's clear the cat has intercepted something he probably shouldn't have. Eisenberg captures the duo's classic dynamic beautifully, with Tom's tongue-out eagerness playing perfectly against Jerry's cool, skeptical gaze. A delightful ten-cent package of MGM cartoon fun.
