Tom & Jerry Comics #155

This charming 1957 Dell issue features Tom looming over Jerry and a tiny mouse companion, both of whom have found an unlikely getaway vehicle — a tortoise fitted with roller skates. Harvey Eisenberg's cover art captures the eternal cat-and-mouse tension with a light, playful touch, Tom's expression caught between cunning and disbelief as his quarry cruises just out of reach. It's a wonderfully absurd little scene that showcases exactly why MGM's duo translated so well to the comic page.
