In "null," Tom stumbles into a clever ruse when Jerry and Tuffy convince him their homemade crystal ball foretells a grand boat trip—only for the trio to end up stranded on a sandbar, where Tom assigns Jerry the role of "Thursday" and Tuffy the role of "Friday," turning the tables in his own delightfully absurd way.
