Toka, betrayed by Mulugru’s poisoned magic, flees into the jungle only to be haunted by the visions it conjures. Seeking answers, he turns to the wise Balsa Cuzco, who urges him to let go of vengeance and find wisdom in his suffering.
In "The Wrath of Inti," Toka defies Balsa Cuzco’s counsel and calls upon the sun god Inti for vengeance, only to see the jungle and village consumed by a sudden volcanic eruption. When a torrential rain halts the lava’s advance—saving the land though not the lives—Toka returns to find Mulugru claiming credit for the miracle. Furious and humbled, Toka confronts him, casting him into a pool and warning the villagers to beware false heroes.
