About this Collection

This 2016 collection reprints the nine-issue Titans Hunt miniseries from DC Comics, which reunites the original Teen Titans—including Nightwing, Donna Troy, Arsenal, and others—as they investigate a mysterious shared memory loss and a threat from their past. Written by Dan Abnett with art by various illustrators, the story sets the stage for the rebirth of the Titans team in DC's post-Convergence universe.

"Chapter One: The Brave and the Bold" marks a pivotal moment in the Titans Hunt series, bringing together a new generation of heroes atop Twister's tower as a dangerous interdimensional rift begins to open. Written by Dan Abnett and illustrated by Paul Pelletier, with inks by Ray McCarthy and Wayne Faucher, colors by Hi-Fi, and letters by Carlos M. Mangual, this issue captures the tension of a battle where past legacies collide with present choices. The cover by Paulo Siqueira perfectly frames the moment of convergence, as the fate of the team hangs in the balance.

Ten heroes unite atop Twister's tower as the being he is summoning begins to enter their world. Because they are not the same ten Teen Titans, in one way or another, that Twister attempted to use years ago, they are able to resist him, with the exception of Hawk. Encouraged by the memory of his brother, Hawk fights back against Twister, Mal closes the breech to the other world, and Gnarrk tosses Mr. Twister into the vortex as it closes. Later, after Hawk and Dove take Mal and Karen to the hospital, the others consider their future options, while pondering who the original tenth Teen Titan was.
