Smythe has the Warpies beat Cappie to death but Roma shows up and heals him before he expires. Smythe is deposed as leader of the R.C.X. and Cloud Nine and Alistaire stay to take over. Rachel, no longer possessed by the Phoenix Force, returns to the team and tells them of her intention to go back to her future.
