"War on Sorian" depicts a conflict on the planet Sorian, where Barlac, the chief of space squadrons, confronts an enemy commander named Zorach over possession of a valuable metal resource that has been weaponized, ultimately ordering his forces to organize defenses and stop Sintenus before he can deploy the weapon against others.

The Scourge of the Carbon Belt
32 pp · Science Fiction

When Major Rex Rigby's survey ship discovers a massive rivanium deposit in the unexplored Carbon Belt of Mars, a fission exchanger failure forces an emergency landing deep in hostile territory. Word of the find spreads fast—not just to the rescue patrol headed by Captain Ace Diamond, but to Valkon, a ruthless renegade Martian who'll stop at nothing to claim the mineral for himself, even as savage Terrons close in on Rigby's stranded crew. With multiple factions converging on the same desperate situation, survival becomes a race against time and cunning enemies.

War on Sorian
32 pp · Science Fiction

When an alien pilot crashes on the peaceful planet Sorian with a dying warning about war from Netros, space chief Barlac must investigate whether his High Lord's own brother—the ruthless Sintenus—truly plans conquest. Racing to spy on Netros and uncover the truth, Barlac and his crew find themselves pursued by enemy interceptors, forcing them into a desperate flight through the very mists they hoped would shelter them.
