Tippy's Friends Go-Go and Animal #9

When Animal discovers Go-Go has fallen for Egghead's romantic poetry readings, he decides the solution is simple: out-poet the competition himself. Armed with costumes and borrowed verses from the classics, Animal launches an earnest but hapless campaign to win back Go-Go's affection—only to find that literary ambition and execution don't always align in this charming 1968 comedy.

Animal forgot to write a book report on Benjamin Franklin and borrows Go-Go's completed assignment—but when the gym teacher destroys the locker key during a display of strength, the report tumbles down a ventilating shaft and Animal must race against time to salvage the situation before Go-Go finds out.
