“Longfellow”

In "Longfellow," Santa faces a holiday crisis when his gnome workforce dwindles due to the war, leaving toy production in jeopardy. With help from Bill, he convinces the President of Bumbonia to mobilize the nation’s citizens into a temporary army of toy-makers—turning a festive challenge into a triumph. Written by Bernard Dibble and illustrated by Dib, with a cover by Al Capp, this 1944 holiday tale blends whimsy and wartime spirit in a story that’s as heartwarming as it is uniquely imaginative.
