Tip Top Comics #86

This anthology issue contains two main stories: "Iron Vic," a military adventure in which a decorated Marine colonel relates his heroic exploits, including stripping from enemy positions at the Solomons and leading raiding operations while suffering heavy casualties; and a continuing story involving soldiers discovering wired explosives planted to destroy an Alaskan highway bridge, which they must dismantle before detonation. A third narrative follows a character named Jim involved in a humorous domestic situation with his wife and a mysterious ambulance driver, ending with the promise of continued adventure in the next issue.
