Tip Top Comics #121 is an anthology featuring multiple stories. "Jim Hardy" by Dick Moores follows a man and woman traveling by car and trailer toward Kentucky; when they encounter a silent occupant inside, they must determine whether the person poses a danger, leading to complications involving an attempted escape and discovery of the mysterious passenger's true nature. "Abbie an' Slats" by Raeburn Van Buren depicts Haggis and another character developing a permanent glue formula after months of work, celebrating their scientific breakthrough with emotional gratitude and promises of lifelong partnership. A haunted-house story depicts guests at an establishment on January 13th experiencing supernatural phenomena, including mysterious footsteps and a smiling portrait of the supposedly feared Josiah Groosing, ultimately suggesting the hauntings may be psychological rather than genuinely supernatural.
