“The 'Fixed Fight' Racket”

In "The 'Fixed Fight' Racket," Bombo takes it upon himself to lift the spirits of the downcast Mr. Biltybux, whose health is failing—though not from any physical ailment. With help from a troupe of circus performers, Bombo stages a series of lively, over-the-top antics that expose the man’s illness as rooted in his mind. The story, drawn with energetic flair by Bernard Dibble, finds joy in the absurd, and the cover by Rudolph Dirks captures the zany spirit of the circus world.
