Tarzan calms the attacking lions and they, with Lethor and Loyya, head north to fight Flint's attacking forces. En route they encounter a herd of stampeding elephants. Several of the lions are trampled underfoot, but Tarzan leaps on the back of the leading elephant in hopes of controlling the stampede.
