Charlton's romance line was firing on all cylinders in 1971, and this issue of Time for Love captures the genre's signature mix of longing and anxiety with real charm. The cover, penciled and inked by Art Cappello, puts us right in the middle of a charged moment — a young man with a bandaged head pulls a blonde woman close, while her anxious thought bubble ("How can I tell him I'm not who he thinks I am…") and his searching words about a familiar perfume hint at a case of mistaken identity with genuine emotional stakes.
