Time Before Time #9

Issue nine of Image's Time Before Time arrives with one of the series' most arresting covers yet — a massive, monochromatic blue face dominates the image, a bearded man wearing large round green-lensed goggles and a bucket hat looming over a solitary brutalist tower block set against an eerie, misty white expanse. The sense of scale is quietly unsettling, the figure so vast that an entire building sits dwarfed beneath his chin like a forgotten detail. Shalvey, McConville, O'Halloran, and Otsmane-Elhaou continue to make this one of Image's most visually distinctive series in 2022.
