Thunderbolts #77 takes a tongue-in-cheek swipe at men's magazine culture, dressing its cover as a glossy lad-mag complete with punchy headlines about "Temptation," "How to Meet Girls," and "Growing Up Lonely." Front and center is a fierce, auburn-haired woman in a white crop top and cutoff shorts, her fists wrapped for a fight and armed with brass knuckles reading "TO FIGHT" — plus a "WELCOME" knuckle-duster in her other hand — making it very clear she's nobody's pushover. Francisco Ruiz Velasco's cover work gives the whole thing a sly, knowing energy that pairs nicely with John Arcudi's run on the title.
