“The Ripper Tour”

A gaunt, ghoulish figure tears through the cover itself — gloved hands gripping the ragged edges of the paper, a drooling, hollow-eyed face pushing through from the other side — while the shadowy silhouette of Big Ben looms in a blood-red London skyline behind it. The title "The Ripper Tour" and that Victorian backdrop set a wonderfully unsettling stage, and Mike Del Mundo's cover art sells the horror with real atmosphere. Jeff Parker, Declan Shalvey, and Frank Martin bring their distinctive energy to this 2012 chapter, and if this cover is any indication, the Thunderbolts are in for a very dark night in London.
