After the dragon's substance fails and the invaders flee in panic, Tabu reveals he created the dragon through concentration and extra-sensory materialization. Thunderbolt battles a muscular giant creature called Brute in the story's climax, sustaining severe damage but ultimately continuing to fight despite his condition.
When a mysterious frozen figure appears at Peter Cannon's gate clutching a defaced griffin idol, Thunderbolt recognizes an ancient Eastern symbol of invasion and danger. The clue sends him and his companion Tabu racing toward the Himalayas, where a warlord called the Dragon has seized an ancient palace and set refugees fleeing in terror. Thunderbolt must parachute into the heart of this chaos to stop the mysterious threat before it consumes the sacred valley where he was raised.
The Sentinels face their toughest challenge yet when the Titan, a powerful android servant of the villainous Mind-Bender, hunts them down after leaving one of their own with complete amnesia. As the team struggles against overwhelming odds—with one member helpless and another discovering unexpected mental abilities—they must find a way to overcome an opponent engineered to be unstoppable. Can they survive long enough to turn the tide, or will the Titan's master finally achieve total victory?
