Thor #489
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis August 1995 issue of The Mighty Thor puts the Thunder God in serious trouble, with cover artists M. C. Wyman and Mike DeCarlo depicting a massive green-skinned powerhouse — armored in blue and gold — bodily grappling Thor mid-air above a shattered rocky landscape, the winged-helmeted Odinson clearly fighting to break free. The two figures crash together with tremendous force, Thor's red cape billowing dramatically as Mjolnir is visible but barely in his grip. Writer Roy Thomas and artist M. C. Wyman bring "Hel and High Water" to life, and if this cover is any indication, the God of Thunder is in for one of his toughest physical confrontations in years.
