This anthology issue features two main stories. "The Secret of the Walking Dead" tells of a supernatural entity called Peter Tam that returns from the dead to reclaim a man's life, leading to a dramatic confrontation where Peter Tam is destroyed in a fire. "The Thing in the Cab" follows a taxi driver who encounters a mysterious, glowing crystal-like passenger in his vehicle; the driver becomes obsessed with the object and attempts to break it open despite warnings from a man named Wilbur, ultimately unable to resist the compulsion to smash it.
