# This Magazine Is Haunted #11 This issue contains at least two supernatural stories. One story involves Raymond Lawrence, a man with the mysterious "Touch of Death," who uses this power to kill his wife and escape suspicion by attending a theater performance with an alibi—but the woman in the black veil he encounters that night proves to be his wife's ghost, returned to haunt him until midnight when she vanishes. Another story features Lord Dalton, a wealthy man who collects the personal troubles and miseries of common people in enchanted bags; when he attempts to take on more troubles than his bags can hold, he instead loses his entire estate to a crone who takes possession of his property and becomes the new lord of the manor. A third story involves Mr. Benton, who possesses the power of death touch and seeks solitude on his remote property, only to be found by a mysterious old crone whose presence suggests supernatural interference with his plans.
