An anthology issue featuring war stories with front-line action. "Tough Sergeant" by Harrison Hendryx depicts a battlefield encounter where a lieutenant must deal with Sergeant Mosely, a cold and insubordinate soldier, during a critical retreat from enemy forces at Jane Russell Hill. Another story follows a soldier named Bob who scouts an area and discovers Red tanks, leading to combat with enemy forces as he attempts to alert his unit to the approaching threat.
