Thief of Thieves #43

Martinbrough's cover for issue #43 sets a quietly unsettling tone: a shadowy, hooded figure crouches in the foreground, face shrouded in darkness, holding up a framed portrait of a sharp-eyed man in a suit — as though the painting itself were the prize. The looming silhouette of a grasping hand overhead ties it all together, giving the composition a sense of surveillance, possession, and cat-and-mouse tension that Thief of Thieves does so well.
