The cover by Ross Andru and George Roussos puts Cyclops and the winged Angel squaring off against a green-clad Mekano in a rooftop brawl, while Iceman, Marvel Girl, and Beast can be spotted joining the fray in the background. It's a lively, kinetic snapshot of the original X-Men lineup in action, and at just 20 cents, it was a terrific deal for Marvel fans in 1973.
