About this Collection
This volume collects early Wonder Woman stories from the Golden Age, reprinting issues of Sensation Comics and Wonder Woman from the 1940s. It continues the adventures of Diana Prince as she battles Axis forces and mythological foes, showcasing the original vision of creator William Moulton Marston. The collection preserves the classic art and storytelling that defined the Amazon Princess's debut era.
In "Mars, the God of War," Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor race to the New England coast at General Darnell’s urging, only to uncover a hidden threat when a young boy named Tommy vanishes. With help from Etta Candy, Diana tracks down a network of Fifth Columnists tied to Nazi invaders preparing to land, testing her courage and resolve in a mission that pushes her beyond the battlefield. Written by William Marston and illustrated by Harry Peter, with colors by Patricia Mulvihill and Digital Chameleon, the cover by Harry Peter captures the tension of a war-torn era.
