Nick Cardy's cover for this 1974 DC anthology delivers that slow-burn unease the series does so well, with the speech bubble's chilling punchline — "he's NEVER late!" — doing exactly the right amount of work. Inside, Carl Wessler and Ernie Chua bring "The Tunnel of Sorrow" to life, making this a fine entry in one of DC's most reliably atmospheric horror titles.
