The Witcher: Wild Animals #2

The second chapter of Dark Horse's four-part Wild Animals arc puts Geralt of Rivia in a precarious spot — literally bound and at the mercy of two masked, animal-helmed warriors in a shadowy forest, while a third armored figure looms close beside him. Natalia Rerekina's artwork brings a striking tension to the scene, her linework and coloring giving the woodland setting an oppressive, mist-drenched atmosphere that perfectly suits the Witcher's world. If this cover is any promise, issue two of this 2023 miniseries is leaning hard into danger and grim intrigue.
