The second volume of Image's wild sci-fi series kicks off here, with Nathan Fox's cover dropping readers right into the chaos — a wide-eyed, spiky-haired man in a spacesuit charges forward clutching a rifle while monstrous clawed creatures close in from every direction around a pitch-black void. Fox's linework crackles with kinetic energy, the bold yellows and reds giving the whole composition an almost neon-lit urgency. If this opener is any indication, 2019 is shaping up to be a great year for fans of gonzo, action-packed science fiction.
