Robert Kirkman's post-apocalyptic survival saga gets the German-language treatment in this Cross Cult edition, subtitled Auge um Auge ("Eye for an Eye"). Charlie Adlard's striking cover looms with the intense, close-cropped face of a long-haired man glowering with barely contained fury, while a horde of decomposing walkers surges forward below him — rotting faces and grasping hands pressing toward the reader with unsettling urgency. It's a powerful piece of black-and-white art from Adlard that perfectly captures the series' tension between human rage and the ever-present undead threat.
