Part of Marvel's 2018 Legacy initiative, this issue of The Unbelievable Gwenpool arrives with one of the series' most playfully self-aware covers — Gwen herself, fully suited up with katanas strapped to her back and a cocktail in hand, casually wading through a pool made entirely of her own comic book pages, including visible issues of Secret Wars and past Unbelievable Gwenpool covers. The striped pool float drifting nearby and the umbrella-garnished drink perfectly capture the series' signature blend of meta-humor and genuine charm. Cover art by Gurihiru and Chifuyu Sasaki makes the whole scene feel like a sun-drenched celebration of how far this wonderfully weird title has come.
