“The Last Autobot?”

In "The Last Autobot?", the fate of Cybertron hangs in the balance as the Neo-Knights and Hi-Q awaken a long-dormant Autobot meant to rebuild their world after Unicron’s devastation. On Earth, Spike is thrust back into the role of Fortress Maximus, forced to confront Galvatron in a battle that tests his resolve and his place among the Headmasters. Meanwhile, on Klo, the Decepticons close in on the Autobots, tracking Grimlock’s signal after seizing the planet. Written by Simon Furman and illustrated by Andrew Wildman, with inks by Stephen Baskerville, colors by Nel Yomtov, and letters by Rick Parker, the cover by Wildman and Baskerville captures the tension of a universe on the brink.

On Earth, Galvatron attacks the Canadian army as Spike is forced to don the Headmaster guise of Fortress Maximus once more to battle him, realizing he can't deny his destiny of being a Headmaster. Meanwhile, on a deserted Cybertron, the Neo-Knights and Hi-Q awaken the slumbering Last Autobot, whose job will be to revitalize Cybertron in the wake of Unicron's destruction. Last, on Klo, the Decepticons plan an ambush against the Autobots after Bludgeon discovers Grimlock's tracer on his ship shortly after they conquer the planet for their own means.
