The Transformers #38

Part of IDW's "Days of Decepticon" arc, this 2015 installment puts a trio of massive Decepticons front and center — two hulking figures in purple and grey loom in the background while a third crouches in the foreground, all rendered with sharp mechanical detail. A menacing red-glowing weapon tip juts toward the viewer, giving the composition a real sense of threat closing in fast. Barber, Griffith, and Perez deliver a cover that makes it clear the Decepticons are very much in charge of the conversation this issue.
