At the forefront, the Flash races alongside a golden-armored figure, while Starfire soars above with her wild, fiery hair and glowing eyes, and a dark-clad hero crackles with energy in the lower left — with an aquatic figure surging through a watery burst in the background. Writer Devin Grayson and the Buckingham/Von Grawbadger art team were clearly ready to make this reunion something special from the very first page.
