With the city now seemingly safer under bovine vigilance, Tick decides it’s time to head to New York and take on real crime, leaving behind the chaos—and the cow—for a new kind of adventure. In "Some Obstacles and a Partial Resolution," The Tick and Arthur hit the road after defeating the Chainsaw Vigilante, only to face new absurdities: a meteor teeming with tiny aliens, a suspicious hitchhiker named Red Eye, and a sudden capture by the bizarre villagers of Monolith, Kentucky—whose terrifying experiments are apparently ordered by the town’s towering, mysterious Monoloth.
